Matilda
Matilda (or Tilda, as her foster lovingly calls her) is proof that sometimes the sweetest souls simply need someone to give them a chance.
After wandering onto the right porch asking for help, Tilda’s journey to us began. She arrived severely underweight, with burned paws and the signs of having recently raised kittens of her own. Despite everything she’d been through, she never stopped trusting people. From day one, all she wanted was love, gentle affection, and as many snuggles as she could possibly get.
Now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home, Tilda is looking for a family who loves to cuddle just as much as she does. In her perfect world, every day starts with snuggling in bed, followed by breakfast, a quick burst of playful zoomies, birdwatching from the window, curling up in your lap while you watch TV, and ending the day exactly where it began — snuggled up with her favorite people. She forms strong bonds quickly, greets everyone at the door like they’re old friends, and has an incredible way of making any house feel like home.
Tilda has impeccable litter box manners, handles vet visits like a champ (especially if treats are involved!), and even tolerates car rides with a little reassurance and a gentle neck rub. She’s also done wonderfully with cat-savvy dogs and would happily share her home with a canine companion.
The one thing Tilda asks is to be the only cat in the household. While she absolutely adores people, she’d much rather keep all of the feline spotlight to herself.
At just around a year old, Matilda is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
