OurAdoption Process
At Parker’s Animal Rescue, we believe adoption is more than just a handoff — it’s the start of a lifelong bond. That’s why every dog in our care lives in a loving foster home where they begin learning essential skills like crate training, house training, and basic obedience. This foundation, along with our ongoing post-adoption support, helps ensure each match is a successful one.
Because we’re a foster-based rescue, our dogs aren’t housed in a central facility. Please keep in mind that meet and greets may take a few days to coordinate — we appreciate your patience as we find the perfect fit.
Adoption Fee: $425
Your adoption fee not only supports the care of your dog — it helps us save the next one waiting for their chance.
Each adoption includes:

4 group training classes (valued at $100+)

Read through and submit an Adoption Application. Applications help us learn about you, your lifestyle, and what kind of dog might thrive in your home.
Contact Us
Give us a call or send us an email to express your interest in a specific dog—or to ask for guidance on who might be a good match.
Schedule a Meet & Greet (or FaceTime)
If your application looks like a potential match, we’ll set up a meeting — either in person or virtually — with the dog and a PAR representative.
Please note: All household members must be present for the initial meeting.
Let Us Know
After the meet and greet, you’ll have a short window to let us know if you’d like to move forward with adoption.
Prepare Your Home
Before finalizing the adoption, we’ll provide a list of essential supplies you’ll need to purchase.
Bring Them Home!
If everything is in place, adoption will typically take place within 24 hours of your commitment.
If you have upcoming travel or scheduling conflicts, just let us know ahead of time.
