Felix is incredibly affectionate. He has full-on lap dog vibes, happily flopping into you, gazing lovingly into your eyes, and soaking up every ounce of connection he can get. Morning snuggles are his favorite part of the day, and he’s truly happiest when he’s close to his person.

He’s also a playful, happy puppy who loves to get out and explore. Felix is the perfect mix of go-go and couch potato — he’s always up for a walk, hike, or adventure, and then just as happy to come home and curl up for a long nap. He especially loves being outside and has even discovered that he’s a pretty decent swimmer.

Felix enjoys playing with other dogs and being part of the action, but he also does a great job knowing when he’s had enough and is ready to take a break and recharge. He has a nice balance of social and independent, making him an easy companion to live with.

He’s smart, present, and very food motivated — which makes training both fun and productive. He’s improving daily with commands like sit and wait (he even started sitting automatically when the front door opens — a proud foster moment). He’s also been out and about on trails and in public spaces, where he’s done wonderfully around both kids and other dogs.

Felix would likely thrive in a home that enjoys getting outside and then winding down together afterward. He’s the kind of dog who will happily join you on your adventures and then be your couch companion at the end of the day.
