Rain is pure sunshine wrapped in a puppy.

Sweet, soulful, and endlessly affectionate, Rain has a way of brightening every space she enters. If you ask her foster to describe her in one word, it’s love bug — and it fits perfectly. She cannot get close enough to her people. At night, she’ll rest her head across your chest or neck. During the day, she rotates from person to person, happily sitting beside each one until she earns a little attention.

Rain absolutely adores other dogs and thrives in the companionship of a playful canine friend. She’ll follow her dog buddy around the house just waiting for playtime to begin, and she also loves curling up next to them for snuggles. While she’s playful and energetic, she’s equally content simply being near her pack.

And kids? Rain is AMAZING with them. She truly lights up around children. They can be excited, up close, and full of energy — she loves every second of it. She melts into the attention and soaks up the love.

She’s social in the best way — friendly and affectionate without being overwhelming. With adults, she’s warm and loving, but she especially saves her big enthusiasm for little humans.

Rain is incredibly smart and eager to please. She learns quickly (often picking up new commands in minutes), responds beautifully to praise, and genuinely wants to make her people happy. She already knows “sit,” waits patiently before meals, and heads to the back door when she’d like to go outside.

Rain strikes a beautiful balance between playful and connected. She loves fetch and happily brings the toy right back. She enjoys walks and would make a wonderful hiking buddy — she prefers staying close to her people rather than wandering far off to explore. Adventure is better when shared.

She’s food motivated, easy to reinforce, and even has a silly, playful side — sometimes stretching dramatically on the couch and sliding right off, as if just to make you laugh. She may also be a future water dog in the making; she already enjoys hopping into the shower afterward to feel the drips.

Affectionate, intelligent, kid-loving, dog-friendly, and deeply devoted, Rain is the kind of puppy who bonds fully and loves wholeheartedly. She would thrive in an active home with another playful dog and a family ready for a loyal, joyful companion.
