Rico is the puppy of your dreams — gentle, devoted, and full of quiet sweetness.

This lovable boy has an incredibly calm and affectionate nature that makes him a joy to be around. Rico enjoys playtime with his toys (especially anything squeaky), happily entertaining himself until he’s worn out. Once the fun winds down, he’s more than ready to settle in for some cuddle time and soak up affection from his favorite people.

Rico absolutely loves being with his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you around the house, keeping a soft eye on whatever you’re doing and simply enjoying your company. His foster says he is happiest when he’s with his family, and it’s clear he forms strong, loving bonds with the people around him.

This sweet boy is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. Rico already knows commands like sit, responds well to direction, and is starting to learn additional skills like heel and stay. He’s very food motivated and truly wants to please, which makes training both rewarding and fun.

Rico is doing wonderfully with his daily routine. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, does great on walks, and is quickly picking up good habits as he grows. His foster even says he’ll make an amazing hiking partner someday.

At the end of the day, Rico is a loving, loyal companion whose biggest goal in life seems to be making his people happy. With his gentle heart, affectionate personality, and eagerness to learn, Rico would make a wonderful addition to almost any home looking for a best friend.
