Smokey Bear

Smokey Bear is a happy, social little guy who has been growing up surrounded by plenty of love — and plenty of dogs!

A former bottle baby, Smokey is incredibly comfortable being handled and has spent his foster days living alongside a whole pack of canine friends, both big and small. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is always ready to join in on the fun. When he and his sister Winnie play together, they have plenty to say to each other, but around the other dogs, he’s a much quieter playmate.

Smokey is happiest when he’s running around outside, exploring and burning off some of that puppy energy. Once the fun is over, though, he takes his naps very seriously. His preferred sleeping spot? Pretty much wherever he happens to drop. Add in a squeaky toy and a piece of chicken jerky, and life is looking pretty good.

Smokey would thrive with a family who has plenty of time to spend with him and the energy to keep up with all the fun that comes with raising a puppy. With his social nature, cuddly side, and enthusiastic approach to life, he has all the makings of a pretty wonderful best friend.
